Chargers sign Moll for offensive line, release Gamble

The San Diego Chargers have signed offensive lineman Tony Moll to a one-year contract. To make room on the roster, the team released rookie linebacker Darryl Gamble.

The move provides San Diego with insurance along the offensive line after the Chargers finished Thursday’s game against Oakland without three of its starters.

Left tackle Marcus McNeill left on a cart after a hard collision and missed snaps due to a neck injury for the second time this season.
