In summer, an average golf course like Torrey Pines Golf Course uses around 1 million gallons of water per week, and spends over $500,000! This is an outrageous amount, especially during a drought. The amount of water that could be saved from not watering the acres of a golf course would be massive. Now, I understand that golf wouldn't be nearly as good without real grass, but why not make better...
