Student behind threat at La Jolla High expelled, held in juvenile hall

The student who made a threat of violence against La Jolla High School last month has been expelled, and the details of the case have been handed over to the Juvenile District Attorney’s office, San Diego Police Department Lt. Steve Waldheim confirmed.

He said police have completed their investigation into the incident and all proceedings going forward, in terms of charges or punishment, are up to the District Attorney’s office. “(The student) was placed into juvenile hall.
