A 71-year-old female pedestrian was crossing 7400 Girard Avenue on Friday, April 25, and was struck by a vehicle, police reports said.
She was crossing from the east curb headed to the west curb, a man in his 20s, driving a Saturn four door sedan, was pulling out of a private parking lot. As the driver made a left turn to head northbound on Girard Avenue, he did not notice the pedestrian, and struck her.
The woman, suffered a broken clavicle and left arm, and was transported by medics for treatment. The Traffic Division is handling the investigation.
