The pine-shaded terraces and patios of historic Lodge at Torrey Pines, built in 1922 inside Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve, will provide a spectacular setting for the first Wine in the Pines benefit, 3:30-6:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, 2015.

The culinary festival will feature a Seaside Market street taco fest, fine wine and beer tastings, art exhibits, live music, and a silent auction — hosted by non-profit Torrey Pines Association and supported by numerous community businesses and individuals.

Proceeds from the event will help fund a new shade pavilion for schoolchildren’s nature programs in the park. Tickets are $75 per person at torreypines.org or (858) 947-8247. Dress is casual and warm for enjoying the sunset!

Torrey Pines Association is a 501(c3) non-profit organization founded in 1950 to help preserve and protect North America’s rarest pine tree, the Torrey pine, and its habitat, now a California State Park Reserve.
