Boys basketballThe Bishop’s School rolled to an 82-34 victory over Canyon Crest Academy on Feb 13, led by a 19-point effort from Jywrell Wilson. David Stotlemye added 15 points, and Sterling Jones scored 12.
The Knights earned the third seed in the Division IV bracket by virtue of their 19-8 regular-season record, and were scheduled to host Imperial in a first-round playoff game on Feb. 21.
La Jolla Country Day dropped a 48-38 decision to Preuss on Feb. 16.
The Torreys went 15-11 in the regular season, earning the right to play a home game in the playoffs on Feb. 21 against Preuss in the Division IV bracket.
La Jolla High School fell to University City, 54-49, on Feb. 13. The Vikings closed their regular season with a 71-46 defeat to Mission Bay on Feb. 16.
The Vikings, who went 14-13, received a first-round bye in the Division III bracket and will play in the quarterfinals on Feb. 24.
Girls basketballLa Jolla Country Day eased to a 62-45 victory over Horizon Christian on Feb. 16, finishing the regular season riding a four-game winning streak.
The Torreys, who compiled a 19-7 record, were the top-seeded team in the Division IV bracket and earned a first-round bye in the Division IV playoffs. They’ll play in the quarterfinals on Feb. 23.
The Bishop’s School eased to a 74-42 victory over Canyon Crest Academy on Feb. 13. Elaina White led the way with 24 points, and Michelle Brunker scored 15.
Bianca Padilla added 14, and Kathleen Roehrkasses contributed 10.

La Jolla Country Day secured a 4-1 win over Horizon Christian on Feb. 12. Country Day earned a first round Division III playoff game against Tri-City Christian thanks to its 15-5-4 record. That game was scheduled for Feb. 20.
La Jolla High School secured a 3-0 victory over Mission Bay on Feb. 14, and then kicked to a 3-0 win over University city the next day to close the regular season on an upswing.
The Vikings (8-4-5) were scheduled to host Brawley in a first-round Division III playoff game on Feb. 20.
Girls soccerThe Bishop’s School wrapped up its regular-season slate in grand style on Feb. 14, securing a 9-0 victory over Canyon Crest Academy. Lindsay Holman-Kelley and Chelsea Wilkinson each scored two goals, while Sarah Bromley had three assists and Natalie Wheeler assisted twice.
Bishop’s was the top-seeded team in the Division III bracket thanks to its 15-4-4 record, and was scheduled to host Calvin Christian (2-10-1) in a first-round game on Feb. 21.
La Jolla Country Day kicked to a 2-2 tie with Clairemont on Feb. 13.

Girls water poloThe Bishop’s School made its No. 2 seeding in the Division II playoffs stand up, easily beating Clairemont, 21-1, in a first-round game on Feb. 14.
The Knights secured a 19-0 win over Valley Center on Feb. 17, getting five goals from Sarah Van Norman and three from Chelsea Smith-Carmichael.
La Jolla High School secured a 10-2 victory over Ramona in the first round of the Division II playoffs on Feb. 14.
The Vikings advanced to the semifinals with a 12-4 victory over Cathedral Catholic on Feb. 17. Michelle Hook led the way with four goals.

Roller hockeyLa Jolla Country Day fell to Mar Vista, 14-1, on Feb. 12. Oren Siegel scored the Torreys’ lone goal. Country Day then dropped a 9-4 decision to St. Augustine. Matt Mulligan and Seigel each scored twice.
