Volunteer drivers sought

ITNSanDiego is looking for volunteer drivers to help provide door-to-door transportation to people older than 60 and adults with visual impairments.

Volunteers must be friendly and willing to lend a steadying hand, and you may need to help riders carry items to and from the car. They must commit to driving a minimum of three hours per month for a year.

Drivers only drive when and where they want and can even pick up a rider on the way to work. They are reimbursed for gas and earn Transportation Social Security credits toward their own future transportation needs.
