Vikings polo team upsets University City

The La Jolla High School Vikings Varsity Water Polo team upset University City in a Oct. 3 game with a final score of 14 to 5.

Goals were made by Hunter Gettelfinger, who shot six; Joe Laird, who shot two; Alex Arcidiacono, who shot two; Troy LeLoup, who shot one; Adam Buechler, who shot one; Alex Grinius, who shot one; and Dylan Hallman, who shot one.

The team’s next game will be against Coronado at the Coggan Family Aquatic Complex on Oct. 8.
