Veterans Day brings out golfers from La Jolla and San Diego to benefit Wounded Warrior Project
Military Veterans-turned-Golf Academy of America students marked Veterans Day, Nov. 11, 2012 by playing golf from dawn until dusk at Marine Memorial Golf course at Camp Pendleton to raise money and awareness for the Wounded Warrior Project. The foursome pictured above set off at dawn to play 54 holes over the course of the day. All five Golf Academy campuses — Myrtle Beach, Orlando, Dallas, Phoenix and San Diego — simultaneously undertook the golf marathons.
