Two get scholarships
Two more local students have been awarded National Merit Scholarships financed by colleges and universities.
They join a group of students announced earlier and will receive awards of between $500 and $2,000 annually for up to four years of undergraduate studies.
The latest winners are:
- William D. Barshop, a La Jolla Country Day graduate, will attend Washington University in St. Louis and has said his likely career field is biology.
- Claire L. Constable of The Bishop’s School will attend Harvey Mudd College in Claremont. She has not selected a career field.
