‘TRANSITions’ set for Nov. 12
The Design Innovation Institute will host a forum to look at innovative alternative transit modalities, including the proposed high-speed train that could be built to link San Francisco and San Diego.
“TRANSITions — High Speed Transit Forum” will begin at 6 p.m. Nov. 12 at Point Loma Nazarene University’s Brown Chapel, 3900 Lomaland Drive.
The event will feature systems such as high-speed rail, magnetic levitation and Personal Rapid Transit.
General admission tickets are $10 if bought by Oct. 30. A limited number of tickets will be available to students at $8 if bought by Oct. 30.
