Townsen on board

SpectraScience Inc., a San Diego-based medical device company, announced that F. Duwaine Townsen, co-founder/managing director of EndPoint Late-Stage Fund, has joined its board of directors.

Townsen helped form medical device company Kay Laboratories Inc. and was later chief executive officer and chairman. In 1982, he co-founded the Ventana Growth Funds and served as the group’s managing partner. In 1998, Townsen co-founded and was managing partner of EndPoint Late-Stage Fund in San Diego.
