Tournament raises science education funds

The Children’s School (TCS) recently hosted its second annual Great Scientists Golf Classic and raised more than $10,000 in support of science education at the school.

The event, which took place on Aug. 3 at The Crossings at Carlsbad, included a putting contest, a shotgun start scramble golf tournament and a Texas hold ‘em poker tournament.

The event brought together a diverse range of local companies committed to the development of tomorrow’s scientific leaders.
