Title 9 hits La Jolla

Beth Marshall, store manager at Title Nine, joins co-workers Jenny Adams, Kelsey Thomas and Danielle Ganahl in front of a display at the new store at 7855 Herschel Ave. Named for the 1972 legislation requiring girls be given equal opportunities in interscholastic sports, the store carries merchandise for outdoor and indoor sports. The store is hosting a “Bra FitFest” from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Friday and a beginner yoga class at 9 a.m. Saturday led by Leslie Talisman of Lila Jolla Studios.
