Three arrested following University City break-in
Three men were behind bars Monday on suspicion of breaking into a University City home, police said.
A woman in the home on Condon Drive, near Radcliffe Drive, called 9-1-1 from a cell phone around 5 p.m. Sunday to report people were banging on a back door, according to San Diego police. She locked herself in a bathroom and was still talking with a 9-1-1 dispatcher when officers arrived, police said.
One suspect was found in the home’s attic, two others were found outside, and a fourth got away, police said.
The woman was not hurt, but a police officer suffered minor injuries when he fell through a skylight while looking for the suspects, police said.
The names of the suspects were not immediately released.
