The scoop on Baskin-Robbins’ 31-cent night

Lulu Lin, owner of Baskin-Robbins on La Jolla Boulevard, said her employees served 972 scoops of ice cream on 31-cent night to about 300 groups of customers, including this unidentified pair. She donated a percentage of the proceeds to the crews at Fire Station 13, who brought their truck to support the event. Customers also had a chance to hear the La Jolla High School Jazz Band.
