The Bridal Bar celebrates its opening

Share

Decked out with pink tents, jeweled lights and a cocktail party fit for a queen,

The Bridal Bar

made a grand entrance to the Bird Rock community last Thursday.

Brides, grooms and wedding industry professionals sipped martinis from glasses accessorized with flashing lights, indulged in gourmet bites and even had their fortunes told while networking and welcoming this event resource company to the neighborhood.

The Bridal Bar, which officially opened in January, is a complimentary concierge service for brides and grooms. Just as a concierge service at a hotel might refer guests to restaurants, The Bridal Bar refers clients to vendors.

The vendors included in The Bridal Bar network showed what they can do during last week’s festivities.

Mosaic Catering, The French Gourmet, Giuseppe Restaurants & Fine Catering and ChileCo served an array of finger foods. Peartrees Catering, Dazzle M Desserts, Candy Couture and Just Fabulous Pastries sugar rushed guests with their sweet treats. BarWorks shook martinis, Adelaide’s arranged flowers and Cynthia Zatkin Events created the window display, which included mock place settings and centerpieces.

Among the many local attendees: Regina Bagdasarian, Giuseppe Ciuffa, William Crandall, Jerry Klein, Catherine Bachelier Smith, Tande Di-Lanatta, Jason Maxwell Taylor, Liz Beck and Elizabeth Chepkwony.

Other local vendors featured: M Bride, Chez Bride, Jewell Entertainment, Taylor Films, Raj Tents, EuroBar Espresso Service, Lounge Appeal, Classic Party Rentals, Plush Impressions, San Diego Stage & Lighting, John Riedy Photography, Beck’s Entertainment and La Jolla DJ’s.
