Taste the best during restaurant week

Into the middle of winter to brighten things up comes San Diego Restaurant Week. From Sunday, Jan. 17 to Friday, Jan. 22 diners can sample the town’s exceptional restaurants for a three-course prix fixe menu — $20, $30 or $40 per person, depending on the restaurant. All of San Diego’s neighborhoods are featuring their most-famous menu classics to woo new diners and reward the regulars.

Locally, participating restaurants include Tapanede, Crab Catcher, Trattoria Acqua, Amaya at The Grand Del Mar, Donovan’s Steak & Chop House, Marine Room, George’s At The Cove, NINE-TEN Restaurant, The Steakhouse at Azul La Jolla, Whisknladle, Roy’s La Jolla, Delicias Restaurant, Pacifica Del Mar, Pamplemousse Grille, Jake’s Del Mar, Zel’s Del Mar, Del Mar Rendezvous, The Fish Market and Sammy’s Woodfired Pizza.
