Synagogues to host classes

United Jewish Federation Community Outreach and the San Diego Rabbinical Association, will offer three-session explorations of Judaism at area synagogues, “Taste of Judaism.” The sessions will be taught by reform, conservative and reconstructionist rabbis.

Taste I, from 7 to 9 p.m. Feb. 18, 25 and March 11 at Temple Adat Shalom 15905 Pomerado Road, Poway, and April 11, 18 and 25 at Congregation Emanu-El, 6299 Capri Drive, San Diego, will explore Jewish spirituality, community and ethics.

Taste II, from 7 to 9 p.m. Jan. 21, 28 and Feb. 4 at Congregation Beth El, 8660 Gilman Drive, La Jolla, will explore Jewish customs, life cycles, holidays and traditions.
