One of two men stabbed early Friday during a fight in Pacific Beach was hospitalized in critical condition and his alleged attacker was under arrest, police said.

Three men in their 20s were walking in the 2400 block of Fogg Street when a fourth man approached and physically attacked the group at about 3:20 a.m., according to San Diego police Officer David Stafford.

The alleged aggressor pulled out a knife and stabbed two of the three men, Stafford said, adding that one was stabbed several times about the body and neck, and was taken to a hospital in critical condition.

The other stabbing victim suffered minor injuries, he said.
