Sun likely to start, end week

The beginning and end of the week will bring warm and sunny weather to San Diego County, a National Weather Service meteorologist said.

High temperatures look “like low to mid 70s early in the week, cooling down to upper 60s for the middle of the week and then upper 70s through the weekend,” said Tina Stall of the NWS.

Exact temperatures will vary by a couple of degrees to the cooler side along the coast and warmer side in the inland valleys, Stall said.

The “May Gray” pattern of late-night and early-morning low clouds and fog will also be present, she said.

Even though this week should be beautiful, that doesn’t mean we’re completely out of the recent weather pattern that brought frequent rain.
