Stepanek gets degree from Texas Wesleyan

Cynthia Stepanek received a bachelor of science degree in religion on Dec. 12 at Texas Wesleyan University’s commencement ceremony.

At the robing ceremony on Dec. 11, Stepanek was robed by Dr. Jesse J. Sowell Jr., professor of religion and philosophy. For the robing ceremony, a tradition since 1927, graduating candidates choose a faculty or staff member whose support was meaningful to them during their studies to vest them with cap and gown.
