St. Germaine’s Children’s Charity hosts Silver Tea

St. Germaine’s Children’s Charity held its annual Silver Tea at the lovely La Jolla home of Dawn Kearney Davidson recently. The festive event (which spread throughout the home and grounds of this oceanfront property) was so well attended, guests were invited in two shifts - and both arrival times were sell-outs.

St. Germaine introduced The Silver Tea in 1984, and since then the organization has contributed more than $2 million for programs to prevent child abuse. This year’s Tea, chaired by Sarah Burton, featured delicate tea sandwiches and sweets - and the beautifully dressed crowd enjoyed exploring the home as much as the edible delights.

Among the many local supporters on hand were Maurine Beinbrink, Karin Camp, Terry Cooper, Mary Walker, Dianne York-Goldman, Marie Chemali, Mary Johnson, Susie Spanos, Cynthia Kronemyer, Merle Lotherington, Karen Miller, Dian Peet, Vicki Eddy, Claire Roach, Jennifer Greenfield and Maree Mossmer.
