Sports Innovators hosting panel, reception

San Diego Sports Innnovators (SDSI) Executive Chairman Bill Walton will welcome the organization’s new Executive Director Lisa Freedman at a reception and panel discussion from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Nov. 15. It will be held at Yogi’s Bar and Grill 2633 S Coast Hwy 101 in Cardiff.

The panel members will talk about why they are involved with the La Jolla-based organization that is promoting collaboration, innovation, business mentoring and development across Southern California’s sports industry.”

In addition to Walton and Freedman, the panel will include John Sarkisian, CEO of SKLZ and SDSI advisory board member since its inception in 2008; John Vance, SDSI’s board member and former president of Sanuk, and Lisel Ferguson, partner of Procopio, Cory, Hargreaves & Savitch LLP and longtime member of SDSI’s parent organization CONNECT.
