Some real Troopers

Members of Troop 3259, who are seventh-graders at Muirlands Middle School, recently completed their Girl Scout Bronze Award. Among other philanthropic projects, they planned a communitywide father-daughter dance and support teaching the community about the importance of education for women in developing countries.

The girls have been together since they were kindergartners at Bird Rock Elementary School.
