Whether it’s relocating for a new career, going off to college or paring down from a home to a condo, chances are when you experience a big life change yaou’ll need to store your stuff. That’s where Solana Beach Storage comes in; it’s a company that proudly considers itself “in the people business.”
“We do things differently here and we offer services that truly set us apart from other storage facilities,” said Ellen Wayne, director of marketing. She points out that the locally owned and operated business on Stevens Avenue has been there since 1973 and is a proud member of the Solana Beach Chamber of Commerce.
Wayne attributes the company’s longevity to its track record of unsurpassed customer service. “We take care of our clients with a complimentary truck to make it really easy to get your items here,” she said. When a customer is on site, Solana Beach Storage staff is ready to assist with unloading or loading property into a storage room.
Further, the company strives to keep everything spotless, and is constantly cleaning and repainting. Solana Beach Storage offers bottled water, coffee and tea, and has a lobby with packing supply items available — boxes, bubble wrap and tape.
The company currently has a special offer for new clients with half-off the regular price on select rooms, which are named to reflect the company’s personable approach. “It’s like this is the client’s place and they are checking into a hotel,” Wayne said.
The smallest room is 3 feet by 8 feet (or 24 square feet), which starts at $79 a month. The largest measures 10 feet by 20 feet with extra space in a loft for up to 300 square feet of storage. Complimentary shelving and plastic to cover stored items is available.
