This portion of the project is supposed to be completed toward mid-November.
The street will be closed and no street parking will be allowed during hours of operation Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Residents will be allowed in and out access. Detours will be posted. The detour routes are are: from Exchange Place traffic will be redirected to Virginia Way, to High Avenue and to Pearl Street; from Pearl St. traffic will be redirected to High Avenue to Virginia Way and to Exchange Place.
The city estimates that the project will be completed in July of 2011. All streets impacted by the construction will be resurfaced with a slurry seal or asphalt concrete overlay.
