Service held for Roger Craig

A memorial service was held Sunday at St. James by-the-Sea for longtime La Jollan Roger Craig, who died on May 25 after a battle with cancer.

A note from a church official said Craig “loved La Jolla and St. James. ... He was devoted to the La Jolla Historical Society, and he loved the conversation and exchange in the Sunday Bible Study.”

A former president of the historical society, Craig was also active at the Athenaeum Music & Arts Library.
