Kiwanis donates to Father Joe

Glen Rasmussen of the La Jolla Kiwanis Foundation on April 17 talks to club members about the work Father Joe Carroll does to assist families at Father Joe’s Villages. The club presented Carroll with a check for $10,000 to assist those with very young children who have been displaced by the economic crisis. The special donation, from the Young Children Priority One Committee, is in keeping with the organization’s focus on helping nonprofits that support young children.
