Senior transport service to start

A new service providing rides for seniors 60 and older starts on Sept. 1.

Sponsored by Jewish Family Service of San Diego and Jewish Senior Services Council, the program is called “On the Go.”

It will offer transportation to medical appointments, grocery stores, events, and Jewish centers and religious events. The program will also offer planned excursions throughout the county and beyond.
