SDPD to sell unclaimed property; golf clubs, IPods

The San Diego Police Department (SDPD) has scheduled a sale of unclaimed property for Saturday, July 26, 2008. The auction will be held at the Scottish Rite Center in Mission Valley, 1895 Camino Del Rio South, in the Corinthian Room.

There will be a variety of items for sale, including 100 bicycles and usual assortment of mixed lots. There are several items of interest, including a kayak, several sets of golf clubs, electronics, a large number of power and hand tools (some of them new), cameras, stereo items, video game systems, sporting goods, IPods, digital cameras, video recorders, gift cards, new men’s and women’s clothing and jewelry.

Viewing of the items for sale will be earlier than in the past. Viewing will be from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m., on the day of the sale. The sale will begin at 8:30 a.m. Parking is free.

Those interested are encouraged to arrive during the viewing time so they can examine the merchandise for sale. There will be approximately 235 lots of property for sale.

Purchases may be made with cash or personal checks on local banks only with proper identification. Credit cards

will not be accepted
