SD Swerve crushes OC at Lacrosse Classic

San Diego Swerve, a boys’ high school lacrosse club team, won the first annual Palm Desert Lacrosse Classic at Hovley Soccer Park Nov. 28 and 29. Swerve is comprised of players from high schools around the county, including Serra, San Dieguito Academy, La Costa Canyon, Carlsbad and La Jolla Country Day.

Swerve was led to victory (9-2) against Orange County’s OC Crush in the final game by T.C. Whaley (La Costa), Bobby Heyer (La Costa), Jake Herald (La Costa), Taylor Graves (Carlsbad), Taylor Bourgeois (La Jolla) and Mike Soumek (La Jolla).
