Sanford-Burnham researcher hosts online chat on rare diseases
Dr. Hudson Freeze, of the Sanford-Burnham Medical Research Institute will host an online forum on his research into rare diseases at 10 a.m. April 7.
Freeze is director of the Genetic Disease Program in the Sanford Children’s Health Research Program. His work is focused on glycosylation, the process by which sugar and proteins interact and the role it plays in disease, with an eye towards therapeutic applications of the lab’s discoveries.
Participants in the online discussion will have an opportunity to ask questions about his research or is interested in finding out more about rare diseases.
