Salk Institute plans its first golf benefit

As part of its 50th anniversary celebration, the Salk Institute for Biological Studies in La Jolla invites the public to celebrate five decades of groundbreaking scientific discoveries by participating in its first Salk Institute Golf Tournament on May 11 at the Del Mar Country Club. All proceeds will benefit Salk’s medical research.

Shotgun start for the tournament is at 11:30 a.m. The registration fee, $400 for individuals and $1,500 for a foursome, includes the greens fee for 18 holes, golf cart, lunch and dinner, giveaway items and the chance to win several raffle prizes.
