Riford surveying residents’ needs

In an effort to guide planning, the Riford Center is conducting a community survey.

Director Sarah Peters said the goal is to find activities and programs that will attract new members to the center, which serves residents 50 and older.

She added that plans are in the works to “reinvent the Riford” by purchasing the building from the City of San Diego, renovating it, and broadening membership and activities.
