Report damaged sidewalks, curbs, gutters

The city of San Diego Street Division is appealing to the public to report problems with damaged sidewalks, curbs and gutters or potholes by calling the Street Division Maintenance hotline at (619) 527-7500.

The Street Division recently put several contracts out to bid using deferred maintenance bond money to fix a large backlog of damaged sidewalk locations citywide. Those calling should have a specific location at an exact address.

Calling Street Division Maintenance hotline is the quickest way to get the problem location logged into the city’s new computerized system to have the damage evaluated and scheduled for repair.

Street Division maintains and repairs existing sidewalks. It is not responsible for installing brand-new sidewalk on an entire block where it did not previously exist.
