Willis Allen’s Marta Schrimpf says ‘buy’
Willis Allen Real Estate’s Marta Schrimpf has had a successful few months, despite the supposed market downturn. In the first quarter of the fiscal year, Schrimpf has closed deals in every price range all over San Diego County, including Talmadge, Carmel Valley, Encinitas and La Jolla.
Schrimpf, who was born in San Francisco and raised in Central America, has consistently been named a top-producer in San Diego County since she joined the real estate ranks 14 years ago.
So what advice does Schrimpf have about the current real estate market? “Buy,” she said. “We’re seeing signs that the market is beginning to pick up. Real estate is always a good investment if you think of it as a longer-term commitment of five years or more. Plus, buying in San Diego has historically proven to produce greater-than-average returns ... homeownership is as much an investment in your life as it is in your financial future.”
