Reader captures June gloom
La Jolla Light reader Janet Gladwin snapped this unusual photo on her cellphone Saturday about 5 p.m. from Glenwich Lane near UCSD.
She said the “June gloom was thick and heavy on the coast, yet inland it was hot and sunny.” About a quarter mile to the west was gloom and a quarter mile east was sunshine.
