The San Diego Chapter of Prudential California Realty’s Charitable Foundation/Agent Community Outreach organization is inviting the community to the San Diego County premiere of “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee,” a two-time Tony Awardwinning play. Tickets for the event, at 8 p.m. July 30 at the North Coast Repertory Theatre in Solana Beach, are available for $40.

Seating in the North Coast Repertory Theatre is limited and will be allocated on a firstpaid, first-reserved basis.

“The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” is a musical comedy about six young overachievers competing for the spelling championship of a lifetime. Called a “supersmart show” and “a bona fide crowd pleaser” by the Wall Street Journal’s Terry Teachout, the production has already been extended beyond its normal run.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the various programs and worthy causes that are supported by Prudential California Realty’s foundation.

“We are excited to sponsor this event, and believe it will be a fun opportunity for our friends and colleagues to show their support for the community,” said Natalie Hill, director of The Charitable Foundation.

The goal of The Charitable Foundation, which has provided more than 1,000 grants in excess of $3.9 million, is to make a beneficial and constructive impact on the community. Backed by the dedicated agents at Prudential, who donate money out of their pockets and time out of their busy schedules, the foundation supports local organizations that promote health, education, community and the environment.
