Program to focus on community gardens

On March 25, Citizens Coordinate for Century 3 (C-3) will host a discussion titled “Making San Diego Community Garden Friendly” in the Harborside Room at the Holiday Inn Embarcadero, 1355 N. Harbor Drive, downtown San Diego.

Registration begins at 7:30 a.m., and the program runs from 8 to 9:15 a.m.

Panelists will discuss what has changed, how gardens positively impact the community, who needs to be involved and what still needs to be done to make San Diego truly community garden-friendly.

Councilman Todd Gloria will serve as moderator.

Cost for the continental breakfast and program is $20 for members and $30 for nonmembers for those who register before the event. Cost at the door is $35 for all. Student admission is $10.
