POW recognized at Mt. Soledad

A ceremony was held on National POW/MIA Recognition Day, Friday, Sept. 19, with a special plaque dedication for Rear Admiral Jeremiah A. Denton, Jr., USN, who was a prisoner of war in North Vietnam from 1965 to 1973.

Denton, due to his health, was unable to travel to the ceremony. His son, Michael Denton - one of seven children - was at the ceremony.
