Playwright advises students

Beth Henley, the recipient of the Pulitzer Prize in Drama and the New York Drama Critics Circle Award for Best American Play for “Crimes of the Heart,” was on the campus of The Bishop’s School as one of three scholars-in-residence from Feb. 2 to 6.

During her residency, Henley watched drama students rehearsing the play “Crimes of the Heart” and gave them stage direction and advice.

Bishop’s Upper School students will present “Crimes of the Heart” at 7 p.m. Feb. 20 and 2 and 7 p.m. Feb. 21 in the Taylor Performing Arts Center.
