Paving work set for next week on Torrey Pines Road

Paving work is likely to slow traffic Monday and Tuesday approaching the intersection of Torrey Pines Road and Prospect Place.

A spokesman for the contractor that is replacing circuitry for the aging street light system along Prospect said late Friday that they will begin work at 9 a.m. Monday in the northbound lanes of Torrey Pines. They will work until finished on that side on Monday, he said, and then will pave the southbound side beginning at 9 a.m. Tuesday.

Flaggers will help direct traffic around the area in an effort to reduce the impact.
