Partial water shutdown in La Jolla Shores Jan. 5

A planned water shutdown scheduled by the city’s Public Utilities Department will be occurring Thursday, Jan. 5 in sections of La Jolla Shores.

Impacted areas are: 8000-8400 La Jolla Shores Drive, 8000-8100 Calle del Cielo, 2300-2400 Paseo Dorado, 2300-2400 Avenida de la Playa, 7800 Dorado Court, 2300 Calle de la Garza, 2300 Calle del Oro and 2300-2400 Vallecitos.

The shutdown in these areas, part of the water main replacement project in the neighborhood, will be from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m.

As a result of work being conducted, there will be construction noise in the affected areas.

Customers in the these areas habe been provided with 3-day advance notification of the shutdown.
