Paddleboard event on June 19

The Windansea Surf Club will hold the fourth Annual Butch Van Artsdalen Memorial Paddleboard Competition at Windansea Beach in La Jolla on Saturday.

The race will start at 7:30 a.m. from the beach at the foot of Palomar Avenue and Neptune Place. Both long- and short-course races will be held along with a race for competitors under 18.
