Overturned car ties up traffic on Torrey Pines Road during rush hour

An overturned vehicle on Torrey Pines Road in La Jolla during evening rush hour Monday, July 18 tied up traffic for about an hour.

“The accident happened on the S Curve at La Jolla Parkway and Torrey Pines Road at 5:45 p.m.,” said San Diego Police Lt. Rick O’Hanlon. “A four-door Lexus sedan overturned and the driver was taken to Kaiser for treatment of minor injuries.”
