Opening night for ‘after the quake’

“After the quake” (a play that examines the psychic after-effects of a disastrous earthquake in Japan with humor and pathos) couldn’t have been more different from “The Deception.” However, the partying that went on prior to the opening night curtain was very similar - and not surprisingly, many of the same supporters were in attendance.

The reception featured Asian-inspired cuisine, including potstickers, setting the mood for “after the quake’s” Japanese theme. Once again, managing director Steve Libman thanked everyone for coming and praised them for having “a passion for theater that’s rare and infectious.”

Among the many locals toasting the evening were Barbara and Dick Enberg, Esther and Richard Paul, Cindy and Tom Goodman, Linda and Joe Satz, La Vonnya Fisher, Elaine Lipinsky, Molli and Arthur Wagner, Dianne and Mitch Goldman, Ralph & Gail Bryan, Natasha Josefowitz, Hamilton and Estelle Loeb, Joan Jacobs, Ellen Revelle, Rita Bronowski, Robert Singer and Judith Harris, and Francy Starr.
