New tool aids ‘green’ theater

Mo`olelo Performing Arts Company, San Diego’s

community-focused, socially-conscious, Equity theater group, just completed a Green Theater Choices Toolkit. The series of scorecards rates the environmental impact of materials used in theater production. The 24-page kit can be downloaded from www.moolelo.

The project was funded by an “A-ha! Think it, Do it” grant funded by MetLife which Mo`olelo received in 2008.
