New officers, grantees named at St. Germaine luncheon

St. Germaine Children’s Charity held its Membership and Awards Luncheon on June 8 at the La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club. Working to stop child abuse, the organization named its 2010 Grant Recipients (all whom share its mission): Angels Foster Family Agency, Aseltine School, Casa de Amparo, Center for Community Solutions, The Children’s Initiative, Community Resource Center, Family Health Centers of San Diego, Healthy Start Military Family Cluster, Palomar Family Counseling, San Diego Armed Services YMCA, South Bay Community Services, STAR/PAL, Tariq Khamisa Foundation, Voices for Children, Women’s Resource Center and YWCA Becky’s House.

Officers for 2010-11 will be President Sheila Scaramella, Vice Presidents Ways and Means Sue Kalish and Maryl Weightman, Vice President Philanthropy Paula Taylor, Vice President Programs Macia Starcher, Treasurer Lisa Betyar, Corresponding Secretary Torrie Schiller and Recording Secretary Jamie Zebrowski.
