New hair salon opens on Fay

Salon Maxfield recently celebrated its opening at 7604 Fay Ave. On hand for the event at the boutique salon and spa were Danielle Mehra, Dunia Campos, salon owner Diane Rabin, Homa Aalam, Liz Sowles, Johnell Chessman. Rabin, a master hair colorist and stylist, has been working in La Jolla since 1989 and said she is excited about reaching her goal of having her own salon.
